For Children

Berkeley Heights Public Library offers children’s eBooks, eaudiobooks, animated picture books and readalongs. For more children’s online resources (for online language learning, encyclopedias, magazines & newspapers, etc.), please go to Children and Student Databases. The online resources/databases are grouped by school level from preschool through high school.


ABCMouse: In-library use only. Children learn to read with phonics in this preK/kindergarten online curriculum. Early learning games, puzzles, songs and books.

 

 

BookFlix: Watch animated storybooks or listen to read alongs on your computer.  See BookFlix Help.

 

 

 

Hoopla: Movies, TV programs, eBooks and music that can be played on your computer or in the Hoopla app. Go to Settings and turn on Kids Mode to see only books and movies for children.  Hoopla Help.

 

 

 TumbleBooks: Watch animated storybooks, listen to readalongs, read eBooks for Grades K-6. Watch Tumblebooks on your computer, or in the Tumblebooks app on your iPad or phone.
